Scott Oliver’s interest in the building industry started at a young age. He started out by helping a local general contractor as a teen, doing odd jobs on the construction site and learning from all trades in the process. Prior to starting Tusk Home Inspections, he served 26 years in the military with the Air Force and Air National Guard. As a military member, he inspected and repaired systems on multi-million-dollar aircraft.
His interest in home inspection started when he bought his first home in 2002, by doing the necessary research to inspect his own home prior to purchase. While serving, he obtained his bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership from the University of Arkansas Fort Smith, piquing his interest in becoming a business owner. When his military service ended in 2019, it was only natural to continue as Home Inspector.
